Levels and Time Frame

This chart gives an overview of levels regarding proficiency and the amount of time necessary to progress from one level to the next. These figures are based on the amount of time necessary to cover objectives at each level. The amount of time necessary for a person of average aptitude to assimilate, acquire and re-utilize language may vary from one learner to the next. It depends on factors such as exposure to the language, motivation, commitment and availability.
